Family BBQ

stylized photo shaded in yellow with yellow hearts obscuring some of the family's faces. Will, Mikey, Dave and my mom's faces can be seen.

Is there anything better than a family BBQ in the summer?!? Burgers on the grill, cold slices of watermelon, corn on the cob and ice pops are summer perfection! Being surrounded by the people who understand us best is the whole point of life. It doesn’t get much better than this!

journal entry: 'My family came over for a BBQ on Saturday. We had fun. Mikey sitting in a chair under an umbrella with my step-dad, step-sister and brother-in-law. Will, Dave and Mimi in the pool. faces obscured with the title family and white hearts outlined in black.

This journal entry serves as a reminder that the simplest of summer activities can form the bedrock of our memories. I’ll tuck this one away in a safe place – it’s a keeper!
