Fairly OddParents
This is the insanity of the parenting journey. One day, you’re hosting a big family party and appreciating the beautiful legacy your in-laws have created and the next day, you’re watching Fairly OddParents.
As you might be able to tell, I’m getting a bit worn down by my parenting journey at this point in our story…LOL.
Why did I let them watch this garbage? Eye Roll
And then the inevitable, “Oh Well”
This is not at all educational or productive or meaningful. It’s just two kids taking a break after a long weekend of being super busy. Likely, I was still cleaning up from the family party and I let Will choose the TV Show so that there would be peace and quiet for an hour or so while I got some stuff done.
Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. You’ve gotta get through it and as long as they’re safe, it’s all good.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Colgate University and a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia Teacher’s College. Before staying home with her children, she worked as an elementary school teacher. For five years, she served on the Board of Directors of the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation, a charity dedicated to enriching the lives of children with special needs. In partnership with her husband Dave, she aspires to parent by using daily life as an opportunity for therapeutic intervention, seizing on real experiences as opportunities to build skills and strategies for Michael in a joyful, loving home environment.
