Easy Snack

Snack title with a photo of mikey eating his little sandwich that he made himself.
Just making a simple snack for himself made Mikey feel more indpendent.

Any little thing your child can do for themselves gives them a feeling of accomplishment and freedom.  These corn cakes and cheeze slices were a relic of Mikey’s gluten free, dairy free days.  The fake cheese was ‘daiya’ brand and the corn cakes were thinner than a rice cake which made for easier sandwich eating.

Photos of Mikey taking two corncakes and putting a slice of cheese in the middle.
Two corncakes and a slice of cheese? Check!

Not an elaborate snack, but Mikey could do it himself, so we let him make it on his own.
