Dot-to-Dot

Love what you do and do what you love.

Mikey adores dot-to-dot books. He has loved them for as long as he has known how to count.  He understands how to do them and can complete them independently.  I think that is part of why he enjoys them so much.  They’re predictable and just challenging enough to keep him engaged.

That’s a cool owl, drawn by a super sweet kiddo!

Recently, a friend sent us a whole box of dot-to-dot books. He wasn’t sure what level Mikey might like, so he sent a variety.  The most simple ones have numbers from 1-10 and the most complex go from 1-101.  Guess what? Mikey loved them all!!!

Sometimes you read Crime and Punishment and sometimes you read People Magazine – both engaging, but totally different experiences…maybe that’s how Mikey feels about these different dot-to-dot books.  He’s diggin’ ‘em!
