Doggie Dentist
Mikey loves our family dogs. He is always gentle with them, and they are also exceptionally patient with him. It seems like they know he is the member of our brood that needs extra protection and love.
So, our golden retrievers used to let him examine them as if he were the vet. He would check their eyes, ears and teeth. Ruby was apparently due for her dental check…Mikey was on top of it. Wink.
Public Service Announcement
I need to warn that most dogs are not tolerant of this kind of (let’s just say intrusive) play. Be sure to supervise your kids closely with your dog to keep everyone safe.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Colgate University and a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia Teacher’s College.
