Crunchy Leaves

6 pictures capturing outside time in the crunchy fall leaves: Mikey walking and swinging, our golden retrievers running around and Dave and Will having a catch.

Crunchy fall leaves are a sensory experience. You don’t even need to have your own yard because every park and hiking trail near you will have some fallen leaves for foot-stomping fun.

Journal entry: “i love to play in the crunchy fall leaves.” photos of Mikey, our two golden retrievers and dave and will all playing outside, leaves covering the ground.

These leaves were so crunch-tastic, we got the whole family out in the backyard to enjoy.

Remember

Your child doesn’t need to journal about grand, exciting adventures every single day.  If your child shares what their life is like at home, it will allow them to connect with classmates.

Maybe a pal will see the journal entry and realize they like to play outside too.  It might lead to a playdate.  Or maybe it will just open the lines of communication and help the other kids see your child in a warmer light.  Either way, totally worth it!
