Circus

Circus sign, circus ticket, strongman, clown and balloon lady

A traveling circus came to town! This circus was human performers only and they were coming to our local high school. We grabbed some tickets.

journal entry. "I went to the circus this weekend." Photos: circus worker holding tall bunch of balloons, huge concession stand and gift shop with tables draped in red and white striped tablecloths, Mikey in the stands eating goldfish crackers, the 'strongman' performing (a guy in a blowup suit to make him look huge)

This circus the size of a high school gym wasn’t overly thrilling…that’s okay. Sometimes smaller is better for our kids. It is less overwhelming than a huge, loud, crowded environment. It’s the Goldilocks rule: not too big, not too small, just right.

As usual, we opted in for any community event Mikey might enjoy…we are nothing if not consistent.
