Christmas Kindness

We had a cute tradition with some family friends: we’d go to the aquarium around Christmas time and see the exhibits and watch Polar Express on the IMAX.
At this stage of the game, Will was in 7th grade and Mikey (and our friends) were in 5th, 4th and 3rd. All of the kids aside from Mikey had probably outgrown Polar Express as a movie of choice by this point. But, they showed up for him and went to the aquarium and the movie to keep the tradition going.

This act of kindness melts my heart. I know they still liked the aquarium, but they hung out for Polar Express too because it made Mikey happy. It was very thoughtful and understanding.
A perfect example of the true meaning of the season…caring for each other.
