Children’s Zoo

The Bronx Zoo has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. There is a photo of me in a baby carrier on my dad’s back at the Bronx Zoo, but since I was not the most attractive baby, I’ll share the one with my mom and I using the fox ears (everything is louder to show you the amazing power of a fox’s giant ears).

I went to the Bronx Zoo with our boys more than once a year for most of their childhoods. The visit Mikey shared today in his journal focused on the Children’s Zoo, an area with interactive exhibits and a petting zoo.

If you go to the Children’s Zoo, I highly recommend feeding the animals as Mikey did. I also love the Spider Web net, the prairie dog burrow and the giant tree slide…good stuff, folks.
