Car Wash

I’m so glad this journal entry popped up! I think sometimes when we think of taking our kids out, we get overwhelmed. We think of typical outings like an amusement park or a museum and it seems impossible for us to imagine making it through such a big adventure with our little ones.

The car wash used to be a favorite of ours! Riding through can be overwhelming from a sensory perspective, but this car wash near us let you get out and watch the cars go through from a window in an adjacent hallway. How cool is that?
Mikey LOVED it! We used to go often in the winter because the salt and sand on the Connecticut roads builds up on cars quickly. Mikey got to put the tip into the tip box too!
If you can find a carwash that will let you watch from outside the car and will vacuum out the snack crumbs that are littered throughout your car, you will have won a huge parenting victory! Wink.
