Pop Pop Pop

Is bubble wrap the most exciting thing to ever arrive in a package or what? It is so fun and satisfying!!

journal entry from April 29 2014. photos of Mikey popping bubble wrap. "When we get a package with bubble wrap, I love popping it!
Debbie Downer Safety Note: Watch kids closely with bubble wrap if they are prone to putting non-food items in their mouths. It’s a choking hazard.

Also, popping the bubble wrap strengthens finger muscles and grip muscles needed for fine motor skills like…cutting out pictures and writing neatly in your super cool journal. Wink.

Just in case you don’t read the photo captions:

Debbie Downer Safety Note

Watch kids closely with bubble wrap if they are prone to putting non-food items in their mouths. It’s a choking hazard. If you know you won’t be able to watch closely, put the bubble wrap somewhere kid-proof, or…don’t keep it in the house at all.
