Breakfast

think high protein bar, peanut butter flavor, Keebler club & cheddar cracker pack, vitamins in a little purple bowl and a tervis cup with water
The same breakfast, packaged and predictable, vitamins and water.

Michael enjoys a variety of breakfast foods. He likes waffles and pancakes. He likes yogurt with cheerios.  He will eat fresh fruit, raisins, craisins and freeze dried fruits.  He adores donuts with frosting and bagels with cream cheese. But, every morning before school, he always wants the same breakfast. It is part of his ‘get ready for school’ routine and he’s sticking with it.

photo of Mikey's breakfast, not on a plate, Mikey enjoying his breakfast with a coloring sheet in front of him and the writing, "This is my breakfast. it is think bar and crackers.'
This is…always…his breakfast, although usually he has a plate…not sure what happened here.

He will let me vary the type of protein bar and the brand of cheese crackers, but other than that…this is the standard and he is sticking with it.  Okay, Mikey…whatever gets you on the bus in the morning is fine by me.
