Blueberries

The farm offered pick-your-own blueberries. At this point in our journey together, I need to cry foul!! During the entire time that Michael could eat solid foods while in diapers, he was obsessed with blueberries. He could practically eat a whole pint by himself. In case you’re wondering, this makes for a truly upsetting diaper changing experience for the adult involved. Yet, I did this for him, because blueberries are so healthy, and he loved them so much.

As you can tell by the expression of pure horror on his sweet, young face, he no longer loves blueberries. In fact, at no time during the years and years that Michael has been potty trained, has he even considered eating a blueberry.
COME ON! Is he kidding me? Could we not have done this in the reverse order and save me the trouble? Wow, Kiddo! You’re lucky I love you.
