Aquarium Playdate

Be honest. Did you think I was exaggerating when I shared how often we went to our local aquarium? We probably went once or twice a month for at least five years.

Playdate Tip
If your child struggles to communicate, think outside the box for playdates. The aquarium did most of the entertaining, so the kids didn’t need to negotiate rules of games or sharing toys. A few other locations/activities also come to mind.
- The movies
- A pizza lunch and walk
- The playground
- The zoo
- A local farm
- The library
- A local fair
- The farmer’s market
- Ice cream shop and walk
- Or any inexpensive local event…you get the idea.
Have fun, crazy kids!!
