A Special Friend

When Mikey was young, he had a bestie. She was one of four kids. Our families hung out together a lot. All six kids were friends, got along well and could entertain each other for hours. But on this particular day, Mikey’s bestie wanted some time to be with her pal on her own.

She came home with us after school and they got some fun playtime together. Then, the other kids came over so they could have a big dinner together. It was a nice combination because Mikey and S, got their time, but no one felt left out.
Friends are the best!
