A Flashlight!

Kids love flashlights!! Give them a flashlight, a glow stick, glow bracelets, or a headlamp and they will be the happiest! Follow me for more parenting hacks. Wink.

journal entry: “we went out in the dark and snow to get the mail. I brought a flashlight!” 3 photos of Mikey walking down the driveway with his big, yellow flashlight.

It had gotten dark and was starting to snow.  I took Mikey for a quick walk down the driveway so he could get a chance to see the snowflakes with his flashlight…I also grabbed the mail while we were out anyway. But the main focus was the fun, folks!

As Randy Pausch says in his book, The Last Lecture, “Never, ever underestimate the importance of having fun.”

She holds a BA in Psychology from Colgate University and a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia Teacher’s College.
