A Day at Home

stylized photos of Mikey in a yellow innertube holding a small water gun, two water gun stickers added for effect.

After a couple of days of big summer adventures, we scheduled a day at home. We invited Will’s best buddy A. I made the boys a quick, easy lunch, and I had snacks available along with a ton of sunscreen and ice water.

journal entry. A and Will hung out with me all day! photos of mikey in the pool with Will and A, A’s name and face obscured with watergun stickers.

They mostly entertained themselves. I supervised the swimming and got to enjoy some of my summer reading. Wink.
