60’s Day

Sixties Day was also Michael’s early birthday celebration at school. His birthday falls over the summer break, so the teacher assigned him a day to celebrate with his friends at school.

We sent in the cake and a bag of hippie temporary tattoos. I went to school that day to deliver the cake and help the kids apply their temporary tattoos (if they wanted). I also took some photos of the class so Mikey would be able to remember his fun hippie birthday at school.
I think school birthdays are a chance to do something a little bit special. Even if your child will not have a party outside of school, they still get the memory of everyone singing to them and celebrating with friends.
Wishing you all peace, love and celebrations galore!
